1Cover vs Allianz Travel Insurance

We do not pick a winner or say which suits you — that depends on your trip, travellers, health and activities. Nothing here is a recommendation.

How to compare the two for your trip
- Match plan levels: 1Cover Comprehensive against Allianz Comprehensive, and the frequent-traveller plan against Allianz Multi-Trip.
- Quote both with the same travellers, dates, destination, excess and cancellation amount.
- Add the options you need — rental vehicle excess (optional on 1Cover's overseas plans), snow, adventure, cruise, motorcycles — before you compare prices.
- If anyone travelling has a medical condition, complete both medical assessments before deciding.
- Check the age conditions on the plan and on any pack you add.
- Read the general exclusions in both documents.
