1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of Travel Insurance Comparison NZ (travelinsurancecomparison.co.nz), which is operated by Evolve Group Limited (FSP711891), trading as Evolve. By using the site you agree to them.

2. What the site does

The site gives general information about travel insurance in New Zealand and lets you send an enquiry to Evolve. We are not an insurer and do not issue policies. Information on the site is general and does not take your circumstances into account, so it is not financial advice.

Policy details we describe come from insurers' published policy wordings, and we cite the document and page where we can. Insurers change their wordings, so check the current wording or ask the insurer before you buy. The policy wording is what decides what you are covered for.

3. Quotes

Any quote comes from an insurer and is subject to its own terms, underwriting and pricing. A price or cover described on this site is not an offer of insurance.

4. Using the site

Give accurate information when you send an enquiry.
Use the site only for lawful purposes, and do not try to disrupt or misuse it.

5. Our responsibility to you

We take care to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded.

Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for the decisions insurers make about quotes, cover or claims, or for the content of other websites we link to.

If you have a concern, please contact us first using the details below so we can try to fix it. A complaint about a claim or a policy should go to the insurer first. Each insurer belongs to its own dispute resolution scheme, which is listed in its policy wording.
